Just a reminder that the J.T. Roberts will be hosting a bake sale on Thursday, October 2nd, during Open House at the school. Proceeds from this bake sale will go towards funding a Butterfly Garden in memory of Gabriella Collins. Please drop off baked goods at the school office or to 312 Strathmore Drive. All baked goods should be labeled and priced. Contact [email protected] or 559-1809 if you can help in any way!

The Back to School Picnic was a huge success! Roberts is a special school community with many different families and it is always a lot of fun to all come together to celebrate what a great school we have!
A tremendous amount of thanks to all who helped set up, passed out tickets, served food, kept the drinks flowing and cleaned up - Margaret Derbyshire, Sasha DeKramer Straub, Jennie Gross-Livingston, Ken Livingston, Sarah Gilbert, Amanda Shanahan, Katie Olney Hunter, Kerry Darmody Zubrzycki, Tina Leatherland-Procopio, Brea Allers, Janette Ranieri, Matt Irish, Michelle Monsour, John DeMott, Jocelyn Reynolds Rauch, Erin Nowak, Addie and Anna Livingston and the many Roberts kids who also pitched in. A very important thank you to our grill masters, Mark Grier and Joe Sojewicz and their "supervisor" Jeffrey Gilbert! Lastly, it was wonderful to see so many teachers and administrators there to join in the fun! We are especially grateful to SCSD School Board Commissioners Dave Cecile, Max Ruckdeschel and Pat Body, for stopping in and making this Roberts family event a priority. Hello Roberts families! The PTO is still looking for a couple of volunteers for school picture day (Tues, Sept 30). If you can spare even an hour or two that would be awesome! We need at least 2 parent volunteers at a time throughout the day (8:30-2:30). This is easy work, and we just need people to help keep the kids organized and under control.

How it works: Grocery Receipts Snap pictures of your receipts from any store, big or small, that sells grocery items to earn Roo Points (cash donations) for your school. Whether you’re shopping at a supercenter, dollar store, or local convenience store - it doesn’t matter where you shop or what items you buy - Shoparoo will make a cash donation for every receipt! Submit up to 20 grocery receipts within a rolling 7 day period. Non-Grocery Receipts Snap pictures of your receipts from any restaurant or other retailer (that doesn’t sell grocery items) to earn entries for your school into Shoparoo’s $1,000 monthly sweepstakes and $15,000 yearly sweepstakes! Each receipt counts as an entry into both monthly and yearly sweepstakes, so spread the word at your school - the more receipts you submit, the greater your school’s chance is of winning. Submit up to 50 non-grocery receipts within a rolling 7 day period. Shoparoo!! You can be a neighborhood sports supporter too! Both Corcoran & J. T. Roberts sports schedules can be found here. Thank you Katie Gorman Sojewicz & Susan Boyle!
